Abstract. This article for the first time analyzes the lexical composition of Russisms in German by the categories of parts of speech. All Russisms presented in a large dictionary of foreign words Duden (2007) were studied. Among Russisms in German there are nouns, adjectives, verbs and set phrases. The main part of borrowings is nouns, as they represent new things and notions. Such researches have not been conducted earlier.
