Abstract.
The article is devoted to the topical problem of the analysis of the textual representation of language personality. In this connection, the paper studies the possibility of speaker’s modeling and the emotive component of the language personality is highlighted. The choice of the epistolary genre is stipulated by the fact that in the texts of letters the triad “author - image of the author - reader” loses one component - the image of the author - and readers face the real personality of the writer, whose modeling is the essence of our approach to the text.
