Abstract.
This article attempts to define the notion of the inner form of phraseological units, to consider this phenomenon in the cognitive aspect. The main attention is paid to studying stable phraseological units from the sphere of music and their use in literary works. The author analyzes phraseological units, describing the appearance of their meanings, as well as images with which they are associated.
