THE TOPICS AND FUNCTIONING OF THE MODERN FRENCH ARGO

Abstract.
The article provides a brief review of theoretical literature devoted to the French Argo. The obtained data allow us to conclude that Argo as the original lexical phenomenon has existed for many centuries in different forms and is spoken in different ways. The paper attempts to analyze, describe, and classify the case examples under study on the subject of thematic areas of relevance to Argo of disadvantaged suburbs of Paris. The author also focuses on the issue of the functioning of a modern Argo vocabulary.
