THE ROLE OF DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS IN ALLEGORICAL NATURE OF THE EPIC “GESAR”

Abstract. The article deals with the role of details in the allegorical nature of the epic “Gesar”. The author emphasizes the remarkable skill of storytellers to influence listeners by their performance of the uligers, and their ability to notice something that is imperceptible to many people. By the examples from the studied source, the author ascertains that the detailed descriptions help to understand the nature of allegory in the epic.
