Abstract.
The article presents the results of studying the English lexemes referring to the lexico-semantic field “hotel”. The authors discover the structure of the lexico-semantic field, identify its nuclear and peripheral lexico-semantic groups, analyze the specificity of semantics and functioning of component lexemes, and establish the relations between the lexical units of the field. The novel by A. Hailey “Hotel” served as the research material.
