Abstract.
The article is devoted to the consideration of kinship terms as one of the categories of address in the family discourse functioning in the Korean language. The attempt to single out the basic principles, according to which the forms of address in the Korean kinship system should be considered, has been made. On the basis of the study of kinship terms as forms of address in the Korean family discourse, the author identifies various nationally marked peculiarities, as well as general features of simplifying the complex system of relationship and addresses in the modern Korean society.
