Abstract.
This article is devoted to the study of such a feature of the Tatar and Russian network texts, as the intonation-semantic determinancy of punctuation. Under the influence of Internet communication there is deliberate admission of various punctuation variants in order to express semantically significant shades and stylistic features of the printed network text. The authors come to the conclusion that in online texts, along with the syntactic principle, semantic and intonation ones become especially significant.
