Abstract.
In the article the specificity of the educational process in training police officers in personal security while solving tasks in law enforcement is identified. The peculiarities and techniques of teaching during classes are singled out. The features of such active methods as game projecting, brainstorming, inter-industry practical classes, tactical and special exercises, organizational-activity and role-playing games are revealed. The directions of the realization of active methods of teaching in the educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation are justified.
