STRATEGY OF HINT IN THE RUSSIAN AND GERMAN PAROEMIAS

Abstract.
The article is devoted to the problem of interpreting indirect speech acts in the Russian and the German paroemiological units. The specificity of the indirect speech act under the conditions of functioning in the paroemiological discourse is revealed, various approaches to the study of the phenomenon of indirection in linguistics are presented, the mechanism of decoding the indirect meaning of the paroemiological utterance is described, and various tactical techniques aimed at implementing the hint strategy in the paroemiological discourse are considered.
