Abstract.
The article is devoted to one of the topical issues of studying the history of translation activity in Yakutia, in particular, to the analysis of publications of translated works of the literary-artistic magazine “Polyarnaya Zvezda”, which has made an invaluable contribution to the development of translation in the republic. For the first time genre, thematic characteristics are given in the work, languages of translation of publications are considered; the research is the a basis for creating an electronic resource.
