Abstract.
The article is devoted to investigating the Tatar handwritten book dealing with the issues of morality. The book is kept in private hands, among the Siberian Tatars. Textual analysis of the manuscript was focused on the problems of text attribution, establishing authorship, philological evaluation of textual content. Consequently, the basic problems of textual analysis are successfully solved. It is shown that we have a copy of the meaningful, rich in content, large-scale poetical work of the XVIII century, which was popular among the readers. Its publication will likely attract attention of modern readers.
