Abstract.
In applied linguistic research the cognitive problem of the organization of speech thinking as a process of solving linguistic problems mediated by a linguosemantic field is studied using the material of a linguodidactic experiment. The phenomenon of speech thinking as a structure is described in a comparison of two approaches - neurobiological and linguodidactic, which allows us to identify a number of universals, as well as the knowledge typology for the knowledge management in solving linguistic problems.
