Abstract. The article presents a detailed characteristic of the complex of exercises from the point of view of the focus on a certain type of a communicative strategy. The requirements applied to these exercises are described. The authors develop types and kinds of exercises for teaching communicative strategies of scientific rhetoric to master’s degree students, exercises aimed at formation of knowledge about communicative strategies, tactics and methods of scientific rhetoric, as well as the formation and development of skills and abilities of self-control.
