THE STORY OF O. M. SOMOV “TALES OF TREASURES”: THE ATTEMPT OF A PARATEXTUAL ANALYSIS

Abstract.
The article deals with such a paratextual peculiarity of O. M. Somov’s story “Tales of Treasures” as the relation of the text to its title. It is established that the framework components of the work - the title and notes - are the exponents of the points of view on the reliability / falsehood of the legends about treasures. In particular, the paper offers genre-defining paratextual nominations of “fairy tale”- “legend” and author’s comments, designated by us as “purpose-defining” note-appeal, a proving-exposing note and a note-ridicule.
