Abstract.
The work is devoted to the peculiarities of modern English-language ecological discourse. The text focus on certain readership is considered by the examples of journal articles. The authors prove the existence of the criteria determining potential consumers of information. The definition of such notions as discourse and ecological discourse is also given. A typology of ecological discourse is examined separately. The paper shows the dependence of the organization of ecological discourse texts on a potential recipient.
