THE USE OF ENGLISH IDIOMS ON FINANCE IN THE ECONOMIC DISCOURSE (BY THE EXAMPLE OF ARTICLES FROM “THE ECONOMIST” MAGAZINE)

Abstract. The article examines the topicality of studying English idioms on finance in the modern English-language economic discourse. Particular attention is paid to the main aspects of using English idioms in the sphere of finance in the economic discourse and defining the author’s translation strategy for this language trope in the examples taken from “The Economist” magazine. Practical recommendations are developed to improve the efficiency of using and memorizing English idioms in the financial sphere.
