WORD COSMOGONY IN ANDREY BELY’S POEM “GLOSSOLALIA”

Abstract.
The article analyzes the artistic disclosure of the symbols of the Cosmos and the Word in the poem by A. Bely “Glossolalia”. The novelty of the research concept is determined by the apocalyptic interpretation of etymological, historical-literary, mythopoetic, and anthroposophical allusions in the figurativeness of the work. It is proved that the poet’s idea of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is revealed in the aspect of the nеo-religious doctrine of original cosmic unity and its restoration as a result of the new revelation of the Word. It is shown that Russian verbal cosmos in the poem has a special role in understanding the eschatological destinies of the peoples.
