REPRESENTATION OF THE VERBS ACTIVATING THE FRAME “RESTORATION” IN MODERN ENGLISH

Abstract.
The article deals with the specificity of the representation of the verbs that activate the RESTORATION frame in the modern English language, as well as the functional and semantic features of the lexical units that verbalize this frame. The author carries out the definitional, semantic and linguistic analysis of the verbs nominating “restoration” and singles out the dominant lexical unit. Conclusions are drawn that the verbs of this group activate all the obligatory components and non-obligatory characteristics of the RESTORATION frame.
