Abstract.
The article reveals world mythological images and plots in A. S. Pushkin’s heritage. For the first time, some sources and features of Pushkin’s interpretation of a number of plot-figurative components of world mythology are analysed. It is shown that in the context of the modern information society development, the identification of the internal cultural unity of people of differrent nationalities, but of common style of thinking, is of particular relevance. It is concluded that a modern Russian-speaking person’s worldview, largely shaped by A. S. Pushkin’s tales, is based on global plots and images due to his works.
