Abstract.
The article considers the personality factor actualization in the autobiographic type of text by the material of Benjamin Franklin’s autobiography. The personality factor is interpreted as a component of anthropocentric subject matter and analyzed in broad context taking into account the notions “personality”, “character”, “linguistic personality”, “autobiographic text”, “text anthropocentricity”. While analyzing, attention is paid to the author’s selection of language means and text construction specificity. The conclusion is made about Benjamin Franklin’s linguistic personality and personality proper.
