Abstract.
There are two types of verb constructions with the infinitive in the Spanish language: grammaticalized and lexical-syntactic ones. The paper analyses objective infinitive constructions by the example of the Old Spanish formal letters dated by the end of the XII - the XIII century. The authors distinguish analytical models and infinitive constructions ; determine the structure of their components: finite verb, infinitive, dependent object. It turns out that the position of an object in the objective infinitive construction (OInfV, InfVO, InfOV, OVInf, VInfO, VOInf) depends on how the object is expressed: by noun / nominal group or by pronoun (clitic).
