Abstract.
The article discusses the lexico-semantic fields of the concept JUSTICE in the English and Russian languages. The paper aims to identify similarities and differences in the representation of this concept in the two languages. In the course of the comparison, it has become clear that the lexico-semantic fields of the concept JUSTICE in the English and Russian languages form such notions as honesty , law , objectivity . A distinctive feature of the English language is the presence of such characteristics in the concept under consideration as legality , integrity and rightfulness , which emphasize certain features of the lexico-semantic field of this concept in English, and a distinctive feature of the Russian language is the presence of such components as truth , law , morality , accuracy .
