Abstract.
The article focuses on studying the English linguistic units realizing the strategy of self-revelation and self-presentation. The paper aims to identify the linguistic means implementing the speaker’s intention to express themselves. Scientific originality of the research lies in the fact that the author identifies and describes the linguistic means of the English language contributing to realization of the self-expression strategy. The conducted research allows concluding that the speaker’s intention to express themselves is achieved through the use of morphological and syntactical expressive means, stylistically marked vocabulary.
