Phraseosemantic Field “Temporality” in the Modern Russian Language

Abstract. The paper aims to explicate the phraseographic portrait of the corpus of fixed units connected by the seme “time” through the identification of the content and structure of the phraseosemantic field “temporality”. Creation of phraseographic portraits is a relevant area of the modern research carried out in the context of systematization of the language material. The scientific originality of the research lies in the fact that it presents the results of the selection and the principles of the field systematization of phraseological units included in the phraseosemantic field “temporality”, and that this can become a basis for development of certain sections of idiographic dictionaries devoted to temporal phraseological units. The results of the research show that the creation of phraseographic portraits on the basis of semantic choice of headings complies with idiographic schemes of the field structurization of the language material. The research has allowed receiving information about the content, lexical and semantic parameters and connotative potential of fixed units which verbalize one of the most complicated, but also fundamental and universal categories of the human existence, mind, language and culture - the category of time.
