Lexical-Semantic Field with the Key Lexeme “Wealth” (by the Material of Written Sources in the Tatar Language)

Abstract. The paper aims to reveal the semantics and characteristics of functioning of lexical units in written sources of the 17th-18th centuries in the Tatar language which are included in the lexical-semantic field of the notion “байлык” (wealth) in the functional-semantic aspect. The scientific originality of the research lies in the fact that it describes the lexical-semantic field of the notion “байлык” (wealth) in the texts of the 17th-18th centuries for the first time. The results show that these lexemes in the sources of the 17th-18th centuries reflect the view of the world and the character of the nation, the people’s attitude not only to wealth and life, but also to the Tatar nation’s culture.
