Abstract. The reviewed collection, dedicated to the anniversary of Professor Zh. N. Zhunusova, presents a broad spectrum of research within the contemporary linguistic paradigm of various countries (Kazakhstan, Russia, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Turkey, etc.), reflecting current issues in comparative linguistics, lexicography, onomastics, intercultural communication, cognitive linguistics, and linguoculturology. In line with the main scholarly interests of the honoree, the collection pays particular attention to promising directions in the theory and practice of bilingual lexicography and the comparative study of structurally diverse languages, including research based on bilingual dictionaries.
