Abstract. This paper considers the pedagogical approaches and principles of the software-methodological provision of "Information Systems and Technologies" discipline, within which scope future applied informatics bachelors’ professional competences formation is laid at the initial level. According to the author’s opinion, the methods of problem-based and project-based teaching are the main ones.
