FIRST INFORMATION ABOUT ICHTHYOFAUNA SPECIES COMPOSITION OF SVETLYI STORAGE LAKE

Abstract. The fish species composition of Svetlyi storage lake (Vilyui basin) is defined. The storage lake ichthyofauna is varied and includes 12 fish species and subspecies belonging to 2 groups, 7 orders, 8 families and 10 genera. Brief biological and eco-zoogeographical fish characteristics are given. Nutritive base provides good fish growth and fatness. By analogy with other Siberian storage lakes we should expect fish irruption, perch and roach in the first place.
