Kotlyarova Viktoriya Valentinovna
nstitute of Service Sector and Entrepreneurship (Branch) of Don State Technical University

Abstract. The article deals with the evaluation of T. Kuhn’s paradigmatic approach to the dynamics of scientific knowledge in the foreign philosophy of science. The author focuses on the little-known points of view of the foreign researchers of paradigmatic approach. Both positive and negative responses to paradigmatic approach are characterized. A brief review of the existing alternative points of view on the use of paradigmatic approach in social-humanitarian cognition is given. The author concludes that the model of science development proposed by T. Kuhn is simple and imperfect, but exceptionally fundamental and can be used in natural sciences and social-humanitarian cognition.
