REALITY AS DREAM, DREAM AS REALITY (BY THE EXAMPLE OF L. BU?UEL’S FILM "THE DISCREET CHARM OF THE BOURGEOISIE" AND C. NOLAN’S FILM "INCEPTION")

Abstract. The article examines how L. Bu?uel in the film "The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie" and C. Nolan in the film "Inception" display the state of the crisis of modern capitalist society using the common artistic technique of combining dream and reality. Bu?uel mostly denounces social institutions and the bourgeoisie as a social group, Nolan penetrates into the depths of the modern western man’s consciousness.
