MODELING OF EXTENDED GEOLOGICAL FORMATIONS BY THE METHOD OF NONLINEAR FUNCTIONAL-FACTORIAL REGRESSION

Institute of Mining of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences

Abstract. In the article the modeling techniques of extended geological formations, relief objects and spatial lithological processes by the method of nonlinear regression are presented. Its peculiarities are the functional-factorial principle of models formation and the optimization of their parameters by the method of the approximations of a parabolic top. The reliability of the models is estimated by the proposed double-sided criterion of correspondence with the errors of experimental data. The efficiency of the method is demonstrated by two examples of the modeling of geological formations.
