DESERTION FROM THE DEFENSE ENTERPRISES OF PENZA REGION IN 1942-1944

Abstract. The article analyzes the issues of desertion from the defense enterprises of Penza region during the Great Patriotic War. The main causes and factors of this phenomenon are considered, the quantitative indicators and structure of desertion are identified. The paper also studies the main ways of preventing the violations of labour discipline that were applied within the territory of Penza region.
