TEACHING THE COURSE "ECOLOGY AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT" AT A TECHNICAL INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION: BY THE EXAMPLE OF KARAGANDA STATE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY

Abstract. The article deals with the issues of teaching the course "Ecology and Sustainable Development" at a technical institution of higher education at three levels of pedagogical technology application - general pedagogical level, particular methodological and local ones. The authors consider the goals and objectives of environmental education and its basic aspects. The paper also carries out the analysis of the use of information-communication technologies and audio-visual teaching aids in classes of various kinds. The methods of the implementation of the distance learning of the course "Ecology and Sustainable Development" at a technical institution of higher education are described.
