INTERROGATIVE SENTENCES IN THE BEZHTA LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article describes the interrogative sentences of the unwritten Bezhta language, which belongs to the Nakh-Dagestanian language family. The author analyzes in detail the formation, semantics and syntax of the general, alternative and special questions. The general questions are formed with the interrogative particle -д/-ди, while the special questions are formed with the special interrogative pronouns сийо’ "what", ‘сукIо // сукъо’ "who", ‘нигъа’ "how, in what way", ‘наа’ "where, which way", ‘ниийо’ "what, which", ‘ласо’ "how large (size)", ‘лад’ "how many (much) (quantity)".
