DYNAMICS OF INTER-GENERATION SOCIAL MOBILITY IN ROSTOV REGION: EXPERIENCE OF PILOT SOCIOLOGICAL RESEARCH

Abstract. The article deals with the dynamics of inter-generation social mobility in Rostov region through such quantitative indicators as scale and distance. As an inter-generation mobility scale the hierarchy of the prestigiousness of socio-professional positions is used. The author identifies the peculiarities of inter-generation mobility in groups occupying different positions on mobility scale. The paper also presents the factor analysis of the dynamics of inter-generation mobility for the selected socio-professional groups.
