FOLKLORIC POETICS RESOURCES IN THE BALKAR PROSE OF THE 1930-1960S

Abstract. The article examines the specifics of the interaction of oral folk art traditions and Balkar literature in the period of its formation (the 1930-1960s). The paper emphasizes the national authors’ borrowing of artistic figurative means and folkloric poetics techniques, which promoted understanding the essence of socio-historical transformations in the national life of the mentioned period, forming a new type of artistic consciousness.
