ORTHOGRAPHIC ADAPTATION OF CONSONANTS IN ANGLICISMS OF THE SPANISH LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article is devoted to one of the aspects of English-language loanwords existence in the Spanish language, namely, to the issue of their orthographic adaptation. The author considers orthographically unadapted and adapted Anglicisms, and presents the results of the analysis of orthographic changes in consonants that occurred during transition of English words to the Spanish language.
