GENDER CONNOTATION OF GERMAN NAMES OF PERSONS

Abstract. In the article the gender features of the stylistically marked anthroponyms of modern German language are described and the wide distributive opportunities of gender while estimating persons are considered. In the work the semantic activity of grammatical gender category is proved. With the help of the stylistically marked names of persons gender connotation as the associative notions of the gender characteristic of anthroponym is convincingly proved.
