COMPARATIVE CHARACTERISTIC OF LEXICO-SEMANTIC MICROFIELDS, EXPRESSING PEOPLE'S MEETING WITH SOME PURPOSE IN ENGLISH AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES

Abstract. In the article the lexico-semantic microfields expressing a meeting of people with this or that purpose in English and Russian languages are considered. The author gives the characteristic to the represented microfields in comparative aspect, using the data of etymological dictionaries, and due to it consistently specifies the similarities and distinctions of the microfields being investigated.
