ABOUT THE CONTEXTUAL-SITUATIONAL ANALYSIS OF THE ENGLISH ELLIPTIC SENTENCES

Abstract. The nature of the elliptical sentences typical for the modern English language is considered in the aspects of contextual-situational setting, structural peculiarities, subject and predicate positions, the principles of the organization of the structural and sense centers and syntactic-functional utterance splitting.
