SEMANTIC DOUBLING PHENOMENON IN THE CONTEXT OF THE PROBLEM OF THE INTERRELATIONS OF THE RUSSIAN AND CHURCH SLAVONIC LANGUAGES

Abstract. The synthesis of the Church Slavonic and Russian language elements which served as the basis of the modern Russian literary language formation has as one of its consequences the creation of lexical fund common for both languages, the considerable part of which - more than two thousand pairs - is presented by semantic duplicates. Doubling phenomenon is considered in the article as the manifestation of the features specific for the Russian culture which represent national property in language and speech.
