LEVEL LANGUAGE ARRANGEMENT. LINGUISTIC AND SPEECH UNITS OF PROSODIC LANGUAGE LEVEL (PHONEME - MORPHEME - PROSODIC UNIT - SYNTAGMA - INTONATION UNIT)

Abstract. The differences between linguistic invariant and speech variant units - phoneme, morpheme, prosodic unit, syntagma, intonation unit - are considered. The limits of units, their connection with meaning and their hierarchical division are defined. The scientists' views at the existence of language units and the possibilities of their systematization are given.
