SOME PECULIARITIES OF THE REPRESENTATION OF THE CONCEPTLOSS IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article presents the results of the detailed study of lexicographic definitions of authoritative explanatory dictionaries, dictionaries of synonyms, thesauruses and also the facts of the modern English language with the purpose of determining the research corpus of lexemes-representatives of the conceptloss which are able to participate in the nomination of loss situation by their basic meaning and under special contextual conditions.
