GROUP MYTHS AS THE MEANS OF MANIPULATING PUBLIC CONSCIOUSNESS IN THE TEXTS OF FRENCH MASS-MEDIA (SOCIAL-LINGUISTIC ASPECT)

Abstract. The author considers the persuasive potential of the lexical units having the markers one's and somebody else's and shows by concrete examples how their pragmatic meaning and manipulative opportunities are enhanced among corresponding words-actualizers and with the support of social context.
