Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of studying the traditional popular terminology of the Yakut language as the object of ethnic-linguistic interpretation. The purpose of the author is to reveal the specifically national peculiarities of the language world picture of Sakha people and the research of the original ethnic-cultural ways of naming.
