STYLISTIC AND GENRE PECULIARITIES OF SASHA CHERNYI'S STORY BATHERS

Abstract. The author analyzes Sasha Chernyi's story Bathers (Not Serious Stories. Paris, 1928) written in an impressionistic style. The work is filled with easy, light-hearted mood, harmony in nature have something in common with a man's harmonious state. Stylistic resolution mainly conditions genre peculiarities: little parts of the story are poems in prose. Bathers is the culmination work of the collected stories devoted to the problems of necessary facilities provision and the search of his (her) place in the new world by a Russian emigrant.
