COMPARATIVE CHARACTERISTIC OF ASPECTUALITY FUNCTIONAL-SEMANTIC FIELD IN THE RUSSIAN AND ARABIC LANGUAGES: GENERAL REMARKS

Abstract. The article is devoted to considering the elements of aspectuality functional-semantic fields in the Russian and Arabic languages. Notwithstanding the fact that the above mentioned languages are not related, they (as the languages with rich morphology) display substantial similarity. The authors pay special attention to the semantic attributes connected with quantitative and qualitative aspectuality and conduct the comparative analysis of verbal action ways in the Russian language and Arabian verb kinds reproducing corresponding aspectual meanings.
