AUTO-TRANSLATION AS KIND OF LITERARY TRANSLATION IN OSSETIAN LITERATURE

Abstract. The author considers the problem of the inter-linguality of authorial translation in the Ossetian literature, traces the adequate conveyance of the national-cultural specificity and pragmatics of initial texts in auto-translation, and on the basis of the comparative-contrastive analysis of texts in different languages comes to the conclusion that auto-translation adequacy depends on not only an interpreter's knowledge of two languages, cultures, but also on his (her) ability to switch from one language system to another, from creative approach to translation.
