Abstract. The authors research the problem of adjectives comparison in the Russian and Kazakh languages, in the aspect of the topic under consideration reveal common and distinctive features in these languages, and show the specific peculiarities of the Kazakh language and the reasons causing the errors in Kazakh students' speech and writing during adjective study in the Russian language.
